Event Name:  World Space Week Celebration
Event Description:  The week of October 4th has been designated World Space Week by the United Nations. To celebrate, a presentation about human activities in outer space is being offered at the Murrayville branch of the Hall County Library system on Wednesday, October 4th from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. The presentation will include highlights of human space activities since the launch of Sputnik, and participants will be actively involved. Frank Lock, a retired astronomy teacher and a member of the Network of Educator Astronaut Teachers NASA group, will make the presentation.
