Report on the Results: | On the fourth day of WSW, Saturday 7th of Oct, the "Spectrometry workshop" was held by ISAS at University of Tehran along with the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) International Joint Conference. The goal of this workshop was to introduce fundamentals of spectrometry in different applications to experts of remote sensing field and environmental science. Spectrometric data can provide valuable information for atmospheric science, water quality, environment and geological application. This workshop covered topics such as • role of field spectrometry in research, • field spectrometry fundamentals, • field and lab measurements, • ASD FieldSpec3 tool introduction and RS3 software. Finally, ASD spectroscopic measurement samples were presented. Beside this workshop, ISA had a booth at ISPRS international Joint conference in which countries such as Germany, Canada, Australia, The Netherlands, France, Poland, China and Italy joined. ISA aimed to introduce achievements of Remote Sensing department in the format of products available to public users, current programs, fields of national scientific cooperation, specific projects, and introducing professional and public applications of remote sensing. ISA experts presented their activities to national and international visitors. |
