| Event Description: | As part of the UN's World Space Week 2017, we invite you to a unique industry roundtable with international and indigenous Nigerian space sector thought-leaders from across the value chain. Exploring possibilities, research and practical steps towards locally-applicable space-applications. We'll also explore Nigeria's growing bottom-up community-led innovation ecosystem and how this can feed into newspace dynamics that led to great contributions at the global scale - such as reaching Mars. Our special guest will include Raheem Bello, a young rising leader, who earned his PhD in Aerospace Engineering at 23 from the University of Texas - working on detonation engine power generators with Fortune 500 companies. Other speakers will include Vaibhav, an Indian Space Sector professional living and working in Nigeria, and many more. |
