We've also collected photographs from local artists, that will be exhibited at the opening, and organized a short panel talk. | Report on the Results: | On the first day of World Space Week, we organized an official opening party, together with an astronomical photography exhibition from the Astronomical society in Skopje and from local artists that have the passion of photographing the starry night sky. The event was officially open by the local organizers, who presented what World space week is, and why we are celebrating it and how we will celebrate it this year in Skopje. A member of the Astronomical society in Skopje talked about this year's theme, and then we continued with a short informative panel on the topic "Using open data towards creating innovation", that was held by a student of the NASA Datanauts program. The rest of the night was reserved for space themed cocktails and fun. |
