Event Name:  Stargazing Celebration
Event Description:  Look through telescopes, learn about exciting worlds beyond ours, and celebrate our place in space. Sponsored by the APL Civilian Space Dept and the APL Astronomy Club. All staff, friends and families are invited Oct 9, cloud date, Oct 10th, 7-9pm.

Report on the Results:  We had a cloudy night, but everyone was excited to be able to see Jupiter and four moons. We had about 40 people come despite the weather and most expressed great interest in attending future star parties. As a result, the APL Astronomy Club and the Civilian Space Department have agreed to begin hosting regular events.
