Wear an alien costume for a chance to become our Alien of the Year! Share your favorite alien or space movies, music, and jokes! All this plus dancing with earthlings, earthling karaoke, door prizes, and our friendship circle are tonight's party's fun and entertaining activities! Free snacks and drinks (no alcohol allowed on the property). Casual dress. Candlelight atmosphere. Smoke-free. All ages welcome. Multicultural. Multi-denominational. | Report on the Results: | Suzi was voted Alien of the Year. Four people achieved a Certificate of Achievement in Extraterrestrial Dancing by dancing the E.T. Twist (twist with finger pointed in the air), Martian Macarena (Macarena with eyes closed), and Milky Way Slide (doing the Electric Slide with everyone holding hands). We sang The Purple People Eater by Sheb Wooley for our Group Karaoke Song, we told alien jokes, and we learned the Martian Compatibility Test. Everyone had a chance to share their favorite space movies and music, and his/her extraterrestial name. The tables were decorated with flying saucers and aliens; the dance floor was decorated with flying saucers, spaceship kites, and garlands with stars. |
