She is the Director of Technology and Citizen Science at the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, the oldest general astronomy education society in the world. An energetic advocate of citizen science, Dr. Gay is also the principal investigator of CosmoQuest.org, enabling amateurs around the world to help with NASA missions. For more than seven years the Science on Top podcast has been delivering science news, features and interviews with leading scientists and researchers. Each week, the team discusses the latest breakthroughs while keeping a critical eye out for bad science and bad reporting.
