On October 9th, from one to three pm,
middle school children will participate in a space themed treasure hunt around their school. Split into teams of three, their purpose will be to find the necessary materials to build a model of the Rosetta spacecraft, the Philae robot and a layout of the solar system.
They will receive clues, which will send them to eight checkpoints.
At each checkpoint, they will find some of the materials. When they are finished crafting, a group of 11th grade students will show them presentations on topics such as "Famous astronauts",
"Conquering the space",
"Heliocentric and Geocentric theories", as well as a robot made by one of the students, and quiz them about those through a Kahoot.
