Event Name:  A History in Space and a Future of Exploration
Event Description:  Daytime events are free and open to the public. Admission for the keynote presentation at 7:30pm is FREE with a University of Colorado ID, $6 for adults, and $3.50 for children and seniors. Parking in Lot 308 is also free after 5:00pm. The day-long business-casual event will host three esteemed speakers and include food and beverages for attendees. 4:00-4:45pm Loretta Whitesides, founder of Yuri's Night, Zero G Flight Director, and Wired Space blogger, will present Space 101. This presentation, geared towards those preparing for a career in space, is an inspiration and practical guide to making the transition from student to successful professional. 4:45-5:00pm Refreshment Break 5:00-5:45pm Ryan Kobrick, CU-Boulder Ph.D. student in Aerospace Engineering Sciences, will discuss his recently completed 4-month simulated Mars mission at the Flashline Mars Arctic Research Station in the high Canadian Arctic. 5:45-7:30pm Reception Hour
