| Event Description: | The Marche region has had illustrious personalities who laid the foundations for the development of the Italian and European aerospace. Of these individual little or nothing is known. This event, that takes place in Osimo between the 4th and 10th of October 2019, wants to celebrate them, in order to remember the historical contribution of people like Enrico Mattei (thanks to whom Italy became the third nation in the world to send a satellite into space - Broglio's project), Giuseppe Occhialini (father of italian Astrophysics and cofounder of the ESA), Guidubaldo del Monte (matematician and astronomer that exchanged work and ideas with Galileo Galilei, the latter got a chair at the Univ. of Padova thanks to del Monte intervention) and many more among which, for example, two contemporary scientists Marica Branchesi and Eugenio Coccia (Gravitational Waves, nobel prize), that continue their fundamental contribution to science and aerospace. The very dense program for the full week sees events in the spirit of full contamination with science, tourism, culture, music, STEM education and territory.
