| Event Description: | Conference: An essential feature in the materials and products that are sent to space, apart from its lightness, is the low level of contamination that is needed. In the "LACOM" laboratory, recognized by the Community of Madrid with No. 88, we have been carrying out this control for the last fourteen years, providing this service to Spanish and some foreign aerospace technology companies. For this, we currently have three FTIR spectrophotometers, which we carry out the analyses with. In addition, new modified materials are proposed to improve the conditions in the space stations (MIR) or future planetary missions, such as anodized titanium as anatase support (TiO2), patent ES2616276. The duration of the conference is 1 hour (10:00 H - 11:00 H). The activitiy will include a visit to the laboratory. IMPORTANT: - It is not necessary to book previously. - The maximum number of attendees is 20 people. |

| Report on the Results: | Se hace una introducción a los Satélites y características térmicas en el espacio (-45C a +150C). Se prosigue con las características de limpieza que es necesario mantener en cualquier equipo e Instrumental que se envíe al espacio, los posibles contaminantes y su origen: grasas, esteres y metily fenil siliconas. Se explica como se hace el muestreo, curvas de calibrado y su problemática, obtención de resultados de un análisis e informe. Todo ello, según la norma de la Agencia Europea del Espacio (ESA). |
