Event Name:  International Observe the Moon Night
Event Description:  Observing the Moon 7:00-8:30 pm
Promotional Image:  No Image.
Report on the Results:  The sky was clear and the Moon was beautiful. The visitors and club member had a great time observing and learning about the lunar features. We then looked at Jupiter. Equipment used-unaided eye, lunar charts with larger markings identified, 70mm refractor, 5" refractor, 8" SCT, 10" reflector, 20" refelctor, 10x50 binoculars. Publicity was very hard to obtain. Since this was the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, we expect this was the cause for the small attendance. Normally, events at this location draw big crowds.
