Event Name:  A Night of Stargazing under Autumn Sky
Event Description:  Vromi—a tourism and ecological conservation organization will arrange a stargazing session of Autumn sky during World Space Week 2019. This session will be held during an island clean-up expedition organized by Travelers of Bangladesh (ToB), a group famous for promoting eco-friendly and responsible travel in Bangladesh. The expedition is aimed to collect plastics and other nondisposable garbage from St. Martin's Island—the only coral island of Bangladesh and bring these garbages to the mainland for proper disposal. As St. Martin's Island enjoys minimum light pollution, which is ideal for stargazing, Vromi decided to team-up with ToB to organize a stargazing session for the participants of the expedition. Learning about the distant stars and galaxies would help us all realize the significance of life-sustaining planets, especially Earth—the blue dot we call our home, and how to save this wonderful habitat of both humans and other living creatures.
