| Report on the Results: | The Inauguration of World Space Week (WSW)-2011, organized by Pakistan Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), was held on 04 Oct 2011 at Satellite research and development center Lahore. The inauguration was followed by many educational and colorful events including:- Poster making competition Display of different satellite models Informative movies on space and satellite technology Fancy Dress Show Many schools and colleges made and presented their Posters for event. Their posters showed the keen interest they had for the subject and the level of innovation they own. The winners of these competitions will be awarded prizes in the closing ceremony of the World Space Week 2011 on 10 October 2011. Similar activities are being held at Karachi, Islamabad, Quetta, Peshawar and Gilgit. |
