| Event Description: | An hour-long activity including Satellite Treasure Hunt, Augmented Reality and Meteorites activities. The Satellite Treasure Hunt consists of a talk on Earth observation satellites, its applications and how the images are used in our everyday lives, followed by a treasure hunt where participants will complete worksheets using Earth imagery maps to identify landmarks and points of interest collected by satellites. During the Augmented Reality activity planets, satellites, moon buggies and other amazing space objects are brought to life using 4D+ augmented reality cards and a tablet, there are some fab space facts to learn along the way too.
