| Event Name: | Cu mic, cu mare... dincolo de Soare |
| Event Description: | Cu ocazia inceputului anului universitar si a Saptamanii Mondiale pentru Spatiul Cosmic (World Space Week 2011), Facultatea de Fizica a Universitatii din Bucuresti va organiza impreuna cu institutele de cercetare de pe Platforma de Fizica Magurele o manifestare deschisa publicului larg care are ca scop prezentarea intr-un mod interactiv si atractiv a notiunilor de baza de astronomie, fizica si astrofizica. Ne dorim ca participarea la acest eveniment sa fie o experienta deosebita, insolita si educativa in acelasi timp, pentru vizitatori. Prezentarile si vizitele in laboratoarele facultatii vor avea loc intre orele 10 si 18, apoi in cazul in care cerul va fi senin se vor face observatii astronomice. |

| Report on the Results: | The event was successful, apart from the 700 visitors organized in groups from schools and highschools attending the event 150 people who have learned about the event from radio, newspapers and posters/flyers we have distributed one week earlier. There were also contests organized (one of astronomy, one on physics and one of drawings with astronomical theme for young children), the big prize being a telescope offered by one of the sponsors. |
