| Event Description: | During the week of 4-10 October 2019, under the guidance of Radu Emilia, the students of the National College of Informatics "Matei Basarab" Ramnicu Valcea are going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mission Apollo 11 by organising various events, such as: -an exposition which includes approximately 100 drawings and paintings and 6 cardboard models with the theme of the Outer Space and the Moon Landing; -a symposium about the Apollo 11 mission, where 6 scientific essays were presented to over 200 students. Some teachers also attended: Parvulescu Emil, Diaconu Iulia and Popescu Corina. -the event finale was marked by The Festival of Happiness, in which over 200 students took part, joined by the school principal, Veteleanu Alina. It took place in the school yard, where the students listened to music, while they drew parts of the Universe and spatial vehicles with chalk. The students danced and the atmosphere was generally filled with joy and enthusiasm. At the end, some helium baloons and lanterns were launched into the air. |
