Event Description:  Celebrate World Space Week in style in At-Bristol! All children who dress up as astronauts, aliens, or any other type of space character will get FREE entry* over the weekend of World Space Week – the more imaginative the better! Once inside, there's plenty of out-of-this-world fun for space cadets of all ages. Join the Live Science team for Launch It!, a very special show investigating the history of space exploration. Don some old-school goggles and take part in the astronaut training programme, explore which forces need to be overcome ready for lift-off, and test some pretty explosive rocket fuels! Launch It! is recommended for children aged 7 and over; however, there are lots of extra-terrestrial experiences for littler ones too, such as handling real meteors, tasting space ice-cream, and even making and launching your own mini-rockets! Finally, join At-Bristol's expert presenters in the Planetarium for a tour of the Autumn Night Sky, taking in Jupiter's moons, the Milky Way and even some ancient mythology... *Please check online for full details
