| Report on the Results: | World Space Week in Madania was successfully conducted on 1 5 October 2007 in SBI Madania, Telaga Kahuripan Bogor, Indonesia. This year celebration was organized by SBI (Sekolah Berwawasan Internasional) Madania, supported by LAPAN (Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional), HAAJ (Himpunan Astronomi Amatir Jakarta) and Department of Astronomy ITB (Institut Teknologi Bandung). The purposes of all activities that had been designed were to build the public awareness of the importance of Space Technology to improve the quality of human life and help us save our Planet Earth. Some activities were added to the initial program, such as: seminar on Space Technology Spin-Off and the roles of Space Technology toward Global Warming and Climate Changes Issues. All participants found this program were interesting and challenging, they followed all activities eagerly and enthusiastically. This has encouraged all contributors to make World Space Week 2008 more fascinating and exciting. See you all in World Space Week 2008. |
