| Event Description: | Webinar „Seismometers - modern cosmic explorers” The 9th of October, we celebrated World Outer Space Week. The organizer of the activity, Mrs. Crina Elefteriu, a Geography teacher, wanted to mark this event at the college level, proposing a webinar on "Satellites improve life". Of great scientific value was the intervention of Mr. Dragoș Tătaru, researcher at the National Research - Development Institute for Earth Physics. During the webinar, he constantly interacted online with the students of grades IX A and IX B, but also with the teachers present at the event. With the help of the Mentimeter application, students tested their well-being or solved quizzes with the help of the Quizizz application on earthquakes or cosmic satellites. Also, Mr. Dragoș Tătaru answered many questions asked by students on earthquakes and their monitoring tools. During this week, educational events and programs take place, the theme of 2020 being the one addressed in the webinar held at the level of our school - "Satellites improve life". |
