Event Description:  To celebrate World Space Week, two experts in the field of space education will be in residence at Eureka! for a day of exciting workshops showcasing space exploration and encounters. The Keighley Star Centre presents ‘Robots explore the universe’ A 45 minute interactive workshop where children can learn about the history of robots and how they have developed to support space exploration, including on Mars. Martin Lunn MBE FRAS presents ‘The blue planet and the red planet’ A 45 minute interactive workshop which will take children on a fun journey exploring both Earth and Mars and the importance of the ESA aerospace industry. World Space Week activities have been made possible with a grant from The UK Association for Science and Discovery Centres, kindly supported by the Science & Technology Facilities Council
