Lewis & Clark Space Celebration 2013 will be held from 6 pm - 8 pm and will include a public viewing of students' scale models of the International Space Station modules and the Mars Science Laboratory "Curiosity", stargazing provided by the Omaha Astronomical Society, an appearance of the state-of-the-art mobile observatory from the Strategic Air & Space Museum, and door prizes provided by the Nebraska Space Grant.

Report on the Results:
The Lewis & Clark Space Celebration 2013! provided over 100 guests a public viewing of students' scale models of the ISS modules and the MSL Curiosity rover; and, telescopic viewings of the moon, Venus, and the Iridium satellite “flaring” by the Omaha Astronomical Society and the Strategic Air & Space Museum. Door prizes were provided by the NASA Nebraska Space Grant. Also, Aksarben Cinema provided eight passes for scale model “Public’s Choice” winners and an accompanying adult to see the 3D blockbuster “Gravity”. Additionally, everyone in attendance also had the treat of watching an unaided sighting of the ISS as it flew over Omaha!
