| Event Name: | 50th Anniversary of Sputnik Primary School Outreach |
| Event Description: | Primary School Outreach Program. An introductory Power Point Presentation and the instructions for three activities for primary school children can be downloaded from the VSSEC website or a free CD can be requested by contacting the Centre. The Power Point presentation discusses the launch of Sputnik and the impact this had on space endeavours. The activities include build your own sputnik and construct a simple electrical circuit to produce a Sputnik type beep. The details of the APRSAF Poster Competition are also included. |

| Report on the Results: | Approx 300 CDs were distributed within Australia and at the IAC in Hyderabad. The feedback from teachers that chose to contact us was very positive. Three posters were sellected from Australia and sent to APRSAF in Bangalore to participate in the poster competition. |
