Report on the Results:  The mining of asteroids and celestial bodies has left the field of science fiction and has begun to arouse interest in companies, investors and universities. Professors Luis F. Gonzalez Portillo and Kevin Fernández Cosials prepared an introductory talk to this field where they engaged in all kinds of discussions about the feasible, the impossible and how much this new type of mining could influence the global economy. It was seen how water mining is postulated for use in a future space economy, or how platinum group metals could be valuable enough to try to approach a NEA (Near Earth Asteroid), for prospecting and mining. Finally, it was explained how the optical mining of asteroids developed by the company Trans Astra has taken giant steps through experiments and patents, which bring us closer to the dream of space resources. It is estimated that around 200 people were informed about the activity, however only 15 people atended in situ and 20 people online.
