| Event Description: | “Humming for PEACE” It is a peace activity that originated in Japan, connecting online with the world on 10/10 every year and singing humming at the same time in the world. “Humming” It could bring the world together as one beyond the language barriers. Even if we can’t rid the world of conflict, we can keep our own peace of mind. HUMMING FOR PEACE is a team that is dreaming of a peaceful world, seriously trying to make it happen. In the event we held in 2020, 200 members came together from all over the world connecting with one another like a jigsaw puzzle, and sang together in unison. We received the Peace Prize of Music Section at World Space Week Japan Award 2020. I hope today will be your Humming Day. Every year the 10th of October is “Humming Day” and we sing together with the members from all over the world. “We need your voice and support.” |

| Report on the Results: | Report on the results of “Humming for PEACE” held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 10 am Japan time. This year too, we held the second Humming for PEACE as the United Nations World Space Week event, and thanks to the WSWJ evangelists, it was the largest event in Japan. This event is named Humming for PEACE. By crossing the language barrier and "humming" the same songs as in the world, the world can be connected. Multinational people from all over the world gathered as an online peace activity, and nearly 300 people sang at the same time in the world. The number of humming voices sung by the world at the same time is double this year, more than 200 data gathered from all over the world, and all of them will be released as one song next month. We believe that the power of humming, a non-verbal song, can bring the world together. It is a mysterious event that uses the online Zoom to sing with multinational people while looking at each other in a mute state despite the singing event. We were able to hold an international event where we could communicate with each other through something other than words and voices. We will continue to host the United Nations World Space Week event on October 10th each year until it becomes a global festival, one day World Anniversary. One day, I dream of a future where the spacecraft and everyone on Earth will connect and sing humming at the same time. 424 people from all over the world have already joined this team, and more and more people are hoping for this future. Studies around the world have revealed that humming causes the secretion of the happiness hormone serotonin, improves immunity, improves blood flow, improves lung function, improves respiratory organs, calories burns, and improves tone deafness. Therefore, it is an event that makes the world healthy as a peace activity that makes the mind and body healthy. We are truly grateful that we at Humming for PEACE have been able to continue our activities thanks to the holding of the United Nations World Space Week. We will continue to hold it as a United Nations World Space Week event, hoping that it will be a wonderful day like Christmas, where you can remember humming even once a year. |
