| Event Description: | Join us at the Planetarium as we celebrate World Space Week. This year’s theme is Space and Sustainability were we will be showing “Our Place in the Cosmos”, Written and Directed by AOP Director Prof. Michael Burton. This planetarium show is about the special, fragile place of the Earth in our Galaxy, and how imperative it is to protect our home from further damage. Tickets also include entry to our drop in Virtual Reality workshop focusing on sustainability and how we can deal with waste on a global scale. Learn about ocean waste, especially plastic, and how we are dealing with it, and how you can make more sustainable choices at home, school and work. Entry also includes access to view our new Climate Exhibition as well as the main Planetarium exhibition. Tickets are FREE with donations welcome to support our PhD programme. Availability is limited. |
