| Event Name: | Designing and Planning a Space Mission. 2) Innovations in Space Technology |
| Event Description: | Designing a Space Mission The event is a mix of both online teaching and physical presentation by students of Std 7 and 8. Project is flexible and children are given the option to do the project individually or in a group. Children learnt about the various steps involved in planning the Space mission. The project is not only research based but children also made physical models of Space lab, mission patch, rockets, spacecraft, landers, telescope, robotic arm and demonstrated working of rovers. Children have also made a model of the moon colony both a real and a digital model. Students will be exhibiting their models displaying their creativity and innovativeness ,giving live presentations interacting with other students, teachers thereby sharing their learning. Parents will also be invited to view their exhibits with the objective of spreading awareness about space science among the community. | Report on the Results: | 1]Space Mission activity was a mixed one using both an online platform and physical interaction with other children, teachers, managing committee. 2) Everyone appreciated the efforts put up by the students.Presentation was followed by giving certificates to the children by our school principal. 3) Article was also published in the local newspaper, school website to share the information within the community. Students were very excited since after 2 years of pandemic ,exhibition was being conducted physically in the school. 4) Innovations in space technology exhibition was attended by parents, students of all classes, teachers. 5) They were amazed at the knowledge children have about their specific modals or charts. 6) Students were very confident and answered all the questions spontaneously and shared their learning with everyone. 7) Kudos to all the children to show their zeal and dedication It was my pleasure to guide and instruct them, developing interest in Space Science 8) Exhibition was a success and parents gave an excellent feedback encouraging and motivating students for their hard work and creativity. |
