| Event Name: | Astronomy Night at the Intrepid Museum |
| Event Description: | On October 4, 2015, join the Intrepid Museum for Astronomy Night from 7:30pm to 10:30pm, including both outdoor viewings from Pier 86 and indoor activities in the Museum. Local astronomers will be on hand with their high-powered telescopes to help you navigate the night sky and answer any questions about astronomy and star-gazing. Guests are welcome to bring their own binoculars and telescopes and set them up alongside the experts. In addition to the outside viewing, there will also be talks and hands-on demonstrations inside the Museum, making Astronomy Night a rain or (star) shine event! Registration for the October 4 Astronomy Night opens on September 15. |
