| Event Description: | "Switch to Space" is a major event held every 2 years in Belgium dedicated to all students interested, for all students interested in or likely to be interested in the space sector, whether at the end of the humanities, to University or High School. This event aims not only to present a very wide range of different areas of the sector, the latest space technologies in Belgium but also to organize meetings between young people with CEO's, engineers, technicians This year again between 100 and 150 Space experts, mainly Belgian industry, research centers, universities, institutions including Belspo, ESA, the European Commission will be present. Switch to Space 4, will also be organized in e-conference, during the plenary, to make known the potential of the Belgian space sector. The objectives of this event are to: - Inform students and young professionals about the many fields in the space sector - Raising awareness of the latest technological developments in the Belgian space industry; - Encourage more young graduates to pursue careers in space - To respond to the shortage of jobs in the space sector in Belgium through better knowledge of the sector, |
