| Event Name: | Habitat Quest: Settling in Space or Saving Earth? |
| Event Description: | The event “Habitat Quest: Settling in Space or Saving Earth?” invites to embark on a space adventure in search of a new home on other planets and moons of the Solar System, focusing on efforts necessary to make them habitable and on unique conditions on Earth making it a perfect living place we must protect. The event will increase awareness of the ecological overshoot and the causes of the greenhouse effect responsible of the global warming and climate change. The participants will discover in form of an interactive game the role of glaciers on our planet, the threats of the sea level rasing and of the oceans’ heating, as well as study the greenhouse effect on Venus. The event will include the guided hall tour in the exhibition area of Planetarium Noosphere, interactive games, and the screening of the fulldome film “Space Weekend: In Search of a New Home”, created by Planetarium Noosphere and screened at the Fulldome Festival Brno 2024. The event with free attendances for the groups of schoolchildren from Dnipro will be held daily from October 4 to October 10 at Planetarium Noosphere in Dnipro (Ukraine). |
