Event Name:  Free First Thursday with TESSERAE, a Self-Assembling Space Habitat of the Future
Event Description:  Enter a futuristic life-size space station module—the TESSERAE Space Habitat Pavilion. The 20-feet high dome is a full-scale mock-up of the TESSERAE self-assembling space habitat designed to sustain and enrich life in orbit. Created in Cambridge, Mass. by Aurelia Institute, the TESSERAE is now part of the Museum's Home Beyond Earth exhibit until Jan. 12, 2025. On Oct. 3 there will be free admission to the Museum from 5-9pm.
