| Event Description: | An expert on the topic, Dr Elena Vckova-Bebekovska, will give a special lecture on asteroids and their characteristics, at the level appropriate for high school students. It will be hosted at the school "Zdravko Cvetkovski" where most of the audience will be from, but students from 3 other nearby schools are organized to attend with their professors. After the lecture, a networking opportunity will be given to the students, where they can discuss the topic with the lecturer and exchange experiences. The event will start at 14h, with a brief 10-15 minute introduction to WSW2024 by the president of the Macedonian Astronomical Society, followed by a 45-minute lecture by dr Vckova-Bebekovska. Finally, 10 minutes for formal questions are planned, followed by 15-20 minutes of informal discussion between students and lecturer. |
