Report on the Results: | As part of World Space Week Azerbaijan 2024, a seminar titled "AI for Climate Change and Sustainability" was held at Baku Higher Oil School, bringing together experts and students to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is being applied to address environmental challenges and promote sustainability. The session provided participants with insights into AI-driven solutions transforming environmental monitoring, resource management, and sustainable development. Real-world applications were discussed, including predictive models for climate change, automated resource management tools, and AI-powered systems for tracking environmental data in real time. The event saw the active participation of 20 Computer Science students, who engaged in discussions on the future role of AI in global climate strategies. Students also explored how they can contribute to innovative AI projects aimed at tackling climate-related issues and promoting environmental stewardship. |
