| Event Description: | On October 10 at 19.00, the last day of World Space Week, we will organize a meeting with Anna Ganicheva, a graduate of the Faculty of Space Research at Lomonosov Moscow State University. At the lecture, we will discuss how vision, hearing, touch, vestibular sensitivity, and even smell and taste change in zero gravity. We will talk about the illusions of perception that astronauts experience during and after the flight. We will try to imagine what people feel when they find themselves on board a space station and then return to Earth. We will also learn how animal and human perception systems are studied on Earth and in space. See you on Thursday at 19.00! |
