| Event Description: | On the 9th of october, at 21h30, Santana's Astronomical Observatory will receive NASA's "New Horizons" Mission Operation Manager, Alice Bowman for a talk about her work, her dreams and thrill of working in the first mission to have a human probe reaching Pluto. This ativity is open for the general public and the attendance is free. After the talk, attendees will be able to ask questions and do a small night sky observation. This talk is possible through a collaboration with Ponta Delgada's USA's Council and the Azores University's American Corner. |
