Report on the Results:  1 Drawings Exhibition - 43 drawings were selected to be displayed in the Festive Hall; there were 2 first prizes (Alexandu Stangu and Alexandra Simian), 3 second prizes (Alexandra Pereanu, Petra Ianu and Teodora Milcu) and 1 third prize (Maria Petrascu). 2 Collages and Models Exhibition - there was one exquisite model displayed in the Festive Hall. 3 During the show entitled Meet Our Solar System, there were three perspectives: scientific - each planet was described (lower secondary pupils); mythological - parallel between the names of the planets and the ancient gods' names (student Teodora Milcu); artistic - two songs: Romanian composer Ciprian Porumbescu's <> and Robert Schumann's The Night (student Marco Olescu). 4 Two PowerPoint presentations: Satellites from A to Z and The Launch of the First Artificial Satellite Sputnik 1 (upper secondary students). There were 2 special prizes as well: Monica Beca for designing the poster of the event, and Marco Olescu for the most active student. The World Space Week proved to be the ideal time to use space in the classroom to excite students about learning science, technology, engineering and math.
