25 Companies Driving Innovation in Space and Climate Change

As part of World Space Week’s 25th-anniversary celebrations, the 25 Companies Leading Innovation in Space and Climate Change campaign highlights businesses leveraging space technology to address environmental challenges. From emissions tracking to sustainable agriculture and renewable energy, these companies demonstrate how space-based solutions are driving practical impact in climate efforts.

How the Companies Were Selected

Over 100 companies were nominated for the campaign. A panel of judges reviewed the nominations and selected 25 companies that best demonstrated their ability to contribute to climate action through innovative space technologies. The selection process considered five key criteria: novelty of technology or solutions, cross-sector innovation, scalability and global impact, collaborative partnerships, and sustainability with a long-term vision.
