| Event Description: | Activities in kindergarten groups including some art and crafts with some space themes like stars, plsnets, rockets and some SF imagery. Also there will be modelling of spaceships and making space toys. Mazes and printable tasks applied. also there will be a couple of space themed cartoons which will be shown to children. |

| Report on the Results: | The event was, when we are talking about the age of the participants, was very succesful. The age of the children from the two kindergarten groups was 4 in one group, and 6 to 7 in the other group. Teddybears (the younger group) was more focused on space themed playing. They build space station, big rocket model out of carton boxes, model of solar system and a kind of laboratory. Children were very intrested in games and play which continues after the WSW, beacuse they are upgradeing the games and activities according to their interest and imagination. At the end of the WSW, they were shown a couple of space themed short animated movies, of which one was a kind of documentary about Solar system. During the showing, almost all the children could recognize the planets. Caterpillars (older children) were at the beggining more exploring the space through books and conversation. After that, they went on a creative space trip on which they made also a Solar system model out of black nylon and paper mache. They made a surface of the unknown planet out of PU foam and an an aluminum foil. And they made a bunch of rockets for a play. There were also a lot of artwork with the theme of space. The WSW with showing of space themed short animation movies (One Small Step, Marooned, Planet Unknown, La Luna etc.). |
