| Event Description: | During the entire World Space Week students will instead of standard geography lessons have only Space related subjects. Students will create posters about the planets of the Solar system, a model of the Solar system from styrofoam balls, constellations of stars. They will watch videos about life in space, learn about space explorers. Everything they make and create will be publicly displayed in the school atrium, school web page and Facebook accounts of school. |

| Report on the Results: | World Space Week took place in Elementary School "Vladimir Nazor" in Komletinci from 4th to 11th October during geography and matematics classes. At the end of September and the beginning of October, students used digital technology to explore interesting facts, average temperatures, masses, diameters, volumes and densities of the planets in their mathematics classes. The students recorded numerical data about the planets in a scientific method and solved tasks related to the Universe. In geography lessons, fifth-grade students made a model of the Solar system and posters about the planets and studied the appearance of the constellations. They also played the game Meteorites, and the winner was awarded with a sweet prize. Sixth-grade students drew pictures of how they imagine asteroids, while eighth-grade students made posters about the most important space explorers. We presented all the results in the mathematics and geography classroom. |
