| Report on the Results: | The 9th grade students gathered and talked about the most important astronomical and space events that happened during this year, starting from the Space Week theme „Discoveries”. Some of them lectured and explained the eclipse formation, while others mentioned the eclipses seen from our country: the partial solar eclipse from 20th of march and the total lunar eclipse from 28th of september. They showed pictures, presentation, diagrams and explained details. The next part of our event was related to the main space events, especially the ESA Rosetta Mission to 67P Comet and the NASA New Horizon Mission to Pluto. The students presented science facts on Rosetta spacecraft and Philae lander on the comet and also about the dwarf planet Pluto first visited by a spacecraft. |
