Event Description: | To conclude World Space Week, on Friday, October 10, at the Pula Observatory, the astronomers from the Astronomical Society “Istra” Pula will host a lecture and sky observation (weather permitting). The lecture, titled “Where no one has gone before”, will focus on our robotic “friends” in space—emphasizing the ways in which they have helped (in the past and today) in exploring the outermost boundaries of our Solar System, and beyond. The lecture was prepared by Dr. Sandi Baressi Šegota and will begin at 8:00 PM, with a planned duration of 45 minutes. After the lecture, a telescope sky observation will be led by Professor Igor Macuka, lasting until 10:00 PM—depending on the number of visitors and weather conditions. |
