| Event Description: | Students will "travel" beyond the classroom to explore the exciting story of NASA’s Artemis mission. They will learn why scientists and astronauts are preparing to return to the Moon, what discoveries await at the lunar south pole, and how this program paves the way to Mars. The event will also introduce the crew of Artemis II – Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen – who will soon (in 2026) orbit the Moon together. This inspiring event connects science, language, and imagination, encouraging our students to see themselves as tomorrow’s explorers. |
