| Event Description: | Living in Space – A Space Science Project As part of the space science project, students of std 7 will explore the theme Living in Space. They will research how astronauts survive on the International Space Station (ISS). Without gravity, daily tasks like eating, sleeping, and moving around are very different. Astronauts use special food packets, strap themselves to sleeping bags, and exercise for two hours each day to keep their bodies strong. Our project will include Models of space habitats and spacecraft. Posters showing how astronauts recycle water and grow plants in space. A display of space suits explaining how they protect astronauts from radiation and provide oxygen. The project will make them realize that living in space requires advanced technology, teamwork, and discipline. It also help them to appreciate Earth, where nature provides us with air, water, and food. This activity will inspired many of them to think about becoming scientists, engineers, or astronauts who might one day help humans live on the Moon or Mars. Truly, the dream of Living in Space is becoming a step closer to reality |
