| Event Description: | This year’s program at the Academy features a wide variety of scientific and astronomical activities. including four new live planetarium shows at the Sharjah Planetarium such as Solar Storms: From the Sun to Earth, as well as two interactive stations: “Imagine Other Worlds” and the “Time Capsule.” The events also include three scientific workshops on exploring astrobiology, exploring habitability beyond Earth, and using artificial intelligence for astronomical image classification. In addition, there will be seven specialized lectures covering topics such as habitability and stability of exoplanets, Sustainable Living in Space: The Case for Mars and radiation in the High-Energy Universe, along with practical training sessions simulating astronauts’ training in space. |
