| Event Description: | Interactive Workshop with LEGO Robots: Overcoming Obstacles This activity is designed to bring space exploration closer to students through hands-on work with LEGO robots. Students will take on the roles of engineers and astronauts operating a rover on the surface of Mars. Their task will be to use a pre-programmed LEGO robot to overcome obstacles that represent Martian terrain. During the activity, children will learn how sensors, wheels, and movement programs work in robots. A scenario will be organized in which the rover must find "rock samples" and return them to base. Each student team will be tasked with optimizing the robot's movement to complete the mission as quickly and accurately as possible. Through this, students will develop teamwork, logical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. Special emphasis is placed on the connection between science, technology, and space exploration. The activity will be fun, interactive, and educational—suitable for both elementary and high school students. The goal is to spark curiosity and interest in robotics, programming, and space exploration among young people. |
