| Report on the Results: | World Space Week 2021 event was organized by National Center in Big Data & Cloud Computing (NCBC) at NEDUET, Karachi on 08th October 2021 from 1800 PM - 2000 PM PKT. 50+ participants of varying age groups and professional working backgrounds learned about the History of WSW, NCBC-NEDUET, the types of telescopes, working principle of different telescopes and then finally observed Crescent Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn at 84x and 254x magnifications. Two different telescopes were setup for observations. Female to male ratio was 60 which indicates higher enthusiasm level among females. 60% of the participants had the fortune of observing through telescope for the first time that made an impression on them. In short, it was a very successful event. |
