| Event Description: | Each of the three classrooms of multi-grade classes will celebrate Space Week by learnin g about Space through engagement in age appropriate activities ranging from Aistear activities in and around a large in-classroom rocket in the Infant room to learning about the ISS and Space exploration in the senior classroom. Books, music, poems and videos will be used as well as Literacy and Numeracy activities. Engineering activities such as building a moon habitat, the ISS and a planet exploring robot will keep the children engaged and interested throughout the theme-based week. Space Week is always a favourite in Cloverfield NS! |
