| Event Description: | There will be discussions on how high school subjects are used to develop the most innovative technologies in STEM and what the benefits of space knowledge are in everyday life. Students will learn about space careers and will be able to take career tests to find the right career for them. During the Physics classes, we will write codes while working with the microbit obtained in Meet and Code 2021, we will develop the necessary skills for the 21st century by learning about circuitry with the help of Arduino, and we will virtually reach the MOON with a rocket built on the Tinkercad platform, also emphasising the basics learned in Physics classes. Students will have the possibility to imagine life as an Artemis astronaut on the Lunar Gateway using innovative learning technology such as Tinkercad. Two mentors will present their Fusion 360 project, an exciting adventure while building a colony on the Moon, to further increase students' interest into the study of Tinkercad 3D. We will follow Paxi (the ESA mascot) on his latest adventure to keep the space clean. Students will learn from astronauts how to live a healthy lifestyle and will get the chance to solve a quiz about Dorin Dumitru Prunariu, the only Romanian to have travelled into space. |
