| Event Description: | During World Space Week 2025, preparatory and third grade students from Școala Gimnazială “Patrichie Popescu”, Bata, Romania, will embark on a week-long educational journey inspired by NASA resources and the remarkable story of astronaut Sunita (Suni) Williams. Throughout the week, children will explore the wonders of the Universe through age-appropriate activities: discovering planets and their characteristics, learning about the daily life of astronauts on the International Space Station, watching short NASA videos featuring Suni Williams, engaging in interactive games such as “Guess the Planet” and “Create Your Own Constellation”,Our event “Journey Among the Stars with Suni Williams – Inspiration for the Future” will celebrate World Space Week 2025 with preparatory and third grade students from Școala Gimnazială “Patrichie Popescu”, Bata, Romania. The activities are inspired by NASA educational resources and the life story of astronaut Sunita (Suni) Williams, a role model for courage, perseverance, and curiosity. Throughout the week, students will explore the planets, discover how astronauts live and work on the International Space Station, and watch short videos about Suni Williams’ space missions. Interactive games such as “Guess the Planet” and “Create Your Own Constellation” will make science fun and accessible for young learners. To conclude the week, children will take part in creative workshops, design rockets and space models from recycled materials, and reflect on their dreams of space exploration. All results will be shared with our eTwinning partners through a collaborative Padlet, promoting international exchange and inspiring students to look up at the stars with curiosity and confidence. participating in creative workshops like “If I were an astronaut…” through drawings, collages, or short messages. |
