Event Description: | Join the French American Chamber of Commerce PNW (FACC PNW) for Seattle's Space Week in cheering for cross-industry synergies, bridges between startups and large organisations, as well as Transatlantic connections! Thursday, October 9th 5:30-8:30pm. The High-Tech Committee of FACC PNW prepared for a forward-looking panel exploring how technology and aerospace are converging to push the boundaries of innovation. The space industry is entering a new era—where commercial innovation, global collaboration, and advanced technologies are redefining what’s possible beyond Earth. Moderated by Laurent Lathiere, Tech Founder and Space Fan, this session will be joined by three distinguished leaders who embody the New Space transformation. Nicolas Gaume, co-founder and CEO of Space Cargo Unlimited, is pioneering in-orbit research and space-based manufacturing. Brian Monnin, CEO of Sophia Space, is driving innovation at the intersection of space technologies and advanced computing to unlock new opportunities for exploration and industry. Marcy Mabry, Senior Director at Space Launch, brings deep expertise in launch services and mission solutions that are enabling access to space for governments, research institutions, and commercial ventures alike. Together, they bring a unique blend of entrepreneurial vision, technical expertise, and industry leadership that will help us explore the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of space. |
